Mégantic is inspired by the events that occurred during the Lac-Mégantic rail tragedy in 2013. This fiction follows the destinies of Méganticois marked by bereavement and trauma, but also by solidarity, courage and heroism.

Omertà or Omertà, The Code of Silence is a Quebec television series of 11 forty-five minute episodes, created by Luc Dionne and aired from January to April 1996 on Radio-Canada. In France, the series aired on France 3 in 1998. A second season, titled Omertà II – The Code of Silence, had 14 forty-five minute episodes and was broadcast between September and December 1997 on Radio-Canada. A third season, titled Omerta, The Last Men of Honor, had 13 episodes and was broadcast from January to April 1999, on Radio-Canada.

One of the most inspiring radio shows in recent years heads to the small screen. The right pairings are the key to this series as two celebrity guests chat over a meal. The conversation flows like wine and each topic is tackled with gusto, as amusing anecdotes are served up next to the most serious matters.

Anne Fortier is a criminal psychologist who works for the Montréal police force. Holding her own among her overwhelmingly male colleagues, the affable, brilliant but slightly klutzy young heroine probes the grisliest of crimes hatched by the most depraved of minds. But Anne also struggles with a dark secret in her own past, which she jealously guards.

A crime thriller seen through the unique angle of a young forensic sketch artist, who works in the investigation unit of the Police Department. As part of a team, she will help try to solve a laundry list of sordid crimes across the city and also tackle cold cases that have been set aside so that justice will be finally served … even if old wounds are opened in the process.

The series takes us into the world of mental health where Dr. Justine Mathieu meets with patients that were brought in by frontline emergency responders Clara St-Amand and Gabriel Beauregard.

In this belated sequel to 'The Decline of the American Empire', middle-aged Montreal college professor, Remy, learns that he is dying of liver cancer. The story of the famous 1989 trial of Chantale Daigle vs Jean-Guy Tremblay. Pregnant at the time of their breakup, Chantale decides to have an abortion. Jean-Guy wants to stop her. This battle goes all the way to the Supreme Court of Canada.

A retired archivist is annoyed and confused by a group of protestors who are angered by a mural inside the retirement home where he resides that glorifies colonialism.

At 47, Julien is an eternal misfit with no real job. Julien and his mother have cut ties a long time ago and she doesn't know about the book. Living a sad and miserable life in a retirement home, she renews contact with her son to make up for lost time. But is that all there is to it?
