'Escolinha do Professor Raimundo' was a comedy program starring Chico Anysio, the unforgettable Professor Raimundo Nonato, and which brought together some of the biggest names in Brazilian comedy. Marked by informality and improvisation, the School was a landmark, immortalized catchphrases like "And the salary, huh?" and paved the way for new and established talents. Created in 1952 by radio host and comedian Haroldo Barbosa for Rádio Mayrink Veiga, the School arrived on TV five years later as a segment of the program Noites Cariocas, on TV Rio. For 38 years, the School was a segment hosted by Chico Anysio in various comedy programs. In 1990, it premiered as an independent program on Globo and became a classic of Brazilian television.

Brava Gente was a television series aired by TV Globo in Brazil between 2000 and 2003, initially as a special year-end. The program was adapted from stories and national stories, and plays by famous playwrights, screenwriters and signed by a number represented by several actors and actresses. The genres of the stories varied each week with the style of each director or author. Brava Gente in the stories ranged from comedies and dramas. In all 53 episodes were shown, broadcast on Tuesday nights.

The comedy tells the story of Hermanotheus, brother of Micalateia and typical Hebrew of the year zero, companion, good shepherd and obedient. He receives the divine mission to guide his people to the land of Godah, in a satire on the biblical story of Moses. In a setting that represents an immense desert, actor Ricardo Pipo plays Hermanotheu, who encounters characters on the way from Cleopatra to the son of the Whole -Powerful. Actors Adriana Nunes, Adriano Siri, Jovane Nunes, Victor Leal and Welder Rodrigues take turns in the other roles. The voice of God, which appears in the off-screen, is by Chico Anysio. Following the group's line of satire, “Hermanoteu in the Land of Godah” visits the diversity of the Bible. The comedy also makes numerous quotes from the modern world, bringing the past closer to the present.

Os Trapalhões was a Brazilian comedy group and also a Brazilian television series created by Wilton Franco. Its members were Dedé Santana, Zacarias, Mussum and their leader Didi Mocó, that was played by Renato Aragão. The name Trapalhões is derived from the Portuguese verb atrapalhar, which means the opposite of helping, to do something the wrong way or to Those that confuse. The name is translated "Tramps" in English DVD subtitles. It was aired by Rede Globo from 1977 to 1999. On March 18, 1990, Zacarias died due to respiratory failure, but the group and the series didn't come to an end until July 29, 1994, when Mussum died due to an unsuccessful heart transplant.

The series follows Barbara Palermo, a frustrated writer, and Pedro Guerra, a grumpy cop. Barbara and Peter met in high school when Barbara fell in love with him. She was an ugly, insecure girl who had always dreamed of being a great writer, while Pedro was a handsome guy, volleyball player, and flirtatious. After high school, each went their own way and they never met. Barbara eventually became a great writer, but under the pseudonym Paloma Paz, and sold hundreds of newsstand books. Pedro dreamed of joining the Brazilian volleyball team, but after an accident, his career went into decline, and he became a lonely and very closed man. The two meet again when an unexpected event involves both of them.
