Fly to glamorous Monte Carlo for the Grand Prix de Monaco Historique. Strap in and follow the motor racing legends through the streets and breakneck turns of the principality. These are the cars and names that make up the sporting Pedigree of Grand Prix racing. While the technical precision of the modern Formula One car is an amazing thing, it is a testament to the love of racing to see drivers throwing these mostly privately owned, sometimes multi-million-dollar one-of-a-kind museum pieces around the tight, narrow streets on the razor edge of control.

It draws on elements including personal correspondence, diaries, archival photographs and much more. Installments include: "Rally Round the Flag," "Rebels at the Gates," "High Water Mark," "General Grant's War," and "Jubilation."

America's policy of non-interventionism had reduced its military to a bare minimum, but the threats posed by the Nazi regime in Europe and the Japanese empire in the Pacific turned a peace-loving state into the world's leading military power ... until our days. From the courageous and long-suffering infantry, which drove the Nazis from the conquered territories of Western Europe during World War II, to the overwhelming navy, which recovered from the attack on Pearl Harbor, becoming an invincible force. This, without forgetting the Air Force, whose pilots and planes destroyed the deadly German Luftwaffe and killed thousands of feared Japanese "zeroes". And, above all of them, the legendary marine infantry, the brave marines.
