Soul Mate

Upon the death of his mother, a gay man in blue-collar America returns to his childhood home. There he discovers a cardboard time machine that he made when he was a boy. As he uses it to get glimpses of his future, he ponders the weight of his life's choices.

In his first comedy special, Kevin James Thornton takes the audience on a coming of age journey talking about growing up gay in a strict church community, trying to be popular in school, and the relatable yet embarrassing stories we all share trying to fit into our own skin.
