Así es la vida is a Peruvian television series produced by Efraín Aguilar for the América Televisión network with scripts by Gigio Aranda. It premiered on March 22, 2004 and ended on November 14, 2008.

One of Lima’s most exclusive residential neighborhoods is turned upside down by the arrival of the Gonzales family, who have come from the countryside to settle into a half-finished house they inherited. Their down-to-earth ways will rub the neighbors the wrong way, especially the Maldinis, who will do everything in their power to get rid of them. As the years go by and new seasons unfold, the story deepens with the arrival of the Montalván family, who will bring even more conflicts and unexpected situations to this unique neighborhood.

A man imagines having the strength, seduction, and power of fictional heroes. He dreams of being like James Bond, Bruce Lee, or Rocky. Suddenly, he finds himself embroiled in a police plot from which he emerges unscathed.

The series is about Raúl Ramírez, a family man who works as a taxi driver with a Daewoo Tico. In each episode a different journey occurs to him, since he almost always meets a passenger who makes him live an adventure. His family is made up of his wife Enriqueta and his children Ana Cecilia and José Luis "Pepelucho".
