Burning Flame is a TVB modern action drama that focuses on the duties and challenges of Hong Kong firefighters. It is the first installment in the Burning Flame series. The series was specifically filmed to celebrate TVB's 31st Anniversary and was supported by Hong Kong Fire Services Department.

Virtues of Harmony is a long-running sitcom from Hong Kong, lasting 322 episodes with two direct seasons. Produced by Tsui Yu On, the sitcom was a TVB production and aired five days a week from September 17, 2001 to December 28, 2002. The series chronicles the comical events and life of the Kam household, a rich family during a prosperous time in the Ming Dynasty of China. The series was inspired by the 2000 TVB comedy drama Colourful Life. Originally planned to be an 150-episode sitcom, an extra 200 episodes were added due to the sitcom's rating success. After the episode finale, a spin-off sequel, Virtues of Harmony II was released in 2003, as well as a spin-off musical, which starred the same cast.

The third daughter, Princess Chiu Yeung, of the Tang Emperor, is known throughout the kingdom for her beauty, but she is also known for her unreasonable and stubborn personality. For this reason, no one wants to marry her - that is, until the second son of the formerly wealthy Kam family, Kam Dor Luk, is persuaded to marry her to save the family business. Princess Chiu Yeung resists the arrangement but realizes that it is a better alternative than being forced to marry the Tibetan king as schemed by her father's evil concubine. This is a story about an ordinary person who will go through fire and water to save his beloved wife. Computer engineer Lee Yan Long and his wife Chiu Cheuk Wing have an ordinary, blissful life. One morning, Lee Yan Long and Chiu Cheuk Wing are suddenly kidnapped by the triads. They claim that Lee Yan Long embezzled $100 million from them and demands that he return the money within 72 hours, or else they will kill Chiu Cheuk Wing! While reporting the incident to the police, the perplexed Lee Yan Long encounters his old friends, passionate detective Leung Hiu Yeung and his high-school crush Tong Mei Lan. Tong Mei Lan accompanies Lee Yan Long on his journey to save his wife. After investigating, they find out that this is related to a youth hostel that Lee Yan Long once stayed at. The online trading platform that he had operated with his friends at the hostel has turned into a money-laundering platform. To find the person behind the scheme, the pair investigate each of the former guests who stayed at the hostel. The process brings up events from the past and they hone in on Cheung Chi Kin their target. The deadline to save his wife is approaching. As Lee Yan Long gets closer to the truth, he discovers that Tong Mei Lan, Leung Hiu Yeung, Cheung Chi Kin and even Chiu Cheuk Wing has a side that no one knows about...

Rewind seven years and two families are ruined due to a serious traffic accident, causing destinies of Keung Yuk-shing and Fong Lok-man to be rewritten. Fast-forward seven years and because of a traffic accident, Yuk-shing runs into Lok-man again. Life is still filled with ups and downs. Lok-man and her younger sister Fong Shu-man do not get along like they used to as people close to them are leaving one after another. An eccentric doctor by the name of Koo Hei-san unexpectedly manages to get to the bottom of the problem. Lok-man is busily looking after her daughter Chu Hang-yee and stepson Chu Ka-bing. Yuk-shing, on the other hand, never understands the needs of his only daughter Keung Tsz-yau. Fate brings Tsz-yau and Ka-bing together. Their mutual friend Mok Yu-him comes across even more problems because of their relationship, which also causes the truth about a traffic accident that took place all those years ago to gradually surface. The chums even have to prepare for change again.
