Buscando el paraíso is a Mexican youth telenovela produced by Luis de Llano Macedo and Marco Flavio Cruz for Televisa and originally broadcast on Canal de las Estrellas from November 8, 1993, to April 1, 1994. Directed by Benjamín Cann, the telenovela stars Pedro Fernández and Yolanda Andrade, with Karla Álvarez and Alejandro Ibarra in antagonist roles. The story follows Dalia and Andrea Montero Machado, two sisters with very different personalities. While Andrea is confident and charismatic, Dalia is shy and insecure. Dalia secretly falls in love with Ángel, Andrea's former boyfriend, who begins a relationship with her only to hurt her. After being abandoned and discovering she is pregnant, Dalia finds support in Julio, a humble and hardworking young man. However, jealousy, betrayal, and unresolved feelings threaten their chance at happiness.

Pueblo chico, infierno grande is a Mexican historical telenovela produced by José Alberto Castro for Televisa and originally broadcast on Canal de las Estrellas from January 6 to August 1, 1997. Created by Javier Ruán and adapted by Javier Ruán, Mario Hernández, and Sergio Schmucler, the telenovela is based on a true story about Leonarda Ruán. It stars Verónica Castro, Juan Soler, and Guillermo Capetillo. The story is set in the late 19th century and follows Leonarda Ruán, a wealthy widow from the town of Nahuatzen who falls in love with Genaro Onchi, a young man from a humble background. Their relationship faces strong opposition from society, family conflicts, jealousy, and the return of people from Leonarda's past who try to separate them. As secrets and rivalries emerge, Leonarda and Genaro fight to protect their love against the judgment and traditions of their small town.

Confidente de secundaria is a Mexican youth telenovela produced by Luis de Llano Macedo for Televisa and originally broadcast on Canal de las Estrellas from March 25 to September 27, 1996. Created by Carlos Aguilar and Rosa Salazar, the telenovela stars Irán Castillo, Flavio César, Alexis Ayala, Julieta Rosen, and Julio Alemán. The story follows a group of high school students whose lives are connected through the popular radio show Confidente de Secundaria. Hosted by Roberto and Mónica, the program encourages teenagers to share their fears, dreams, relationships, and personal struggles. Argentina, 1976. With the beginning of the military dictatorship, a young police officer is accused of belonging to the ERP guerrilla group.
