Sung Chung Kei (Bobby Au-yeung) and his mentee Kwong Kong Sang (Moses Chan) are two major investment bankers. However, Kong Sang uses unscrupulous methods which caused tension between them. During a plane crash, Chung Kei accidentally switches his soul with Bau Pau (James Ng) using a face-off card and is forced to live with his aunt, Bau Mei Na (Maggie Shiu). He also suspects that his wife, Ling Kit Yu (Kristal Tin) is having an affair with Kong Sang. Chung Kei decides to work with Kong Sang to find his lost soul. Kong Sang teams up with Sheung Ho Yiu (Ali Lee) in order to take revenge on the Sheung family. Lau Hang (Louis Cheung) is also seeking revenge on behalf of his godfather. The trio then embark on a time-travelling revenge plot ...

Wong Ka-Nam disappeared to the United States, leaving behind her son and husband in Hong Kong. When her husband dies in an airplane accident looking for her, Wong Ka-Nam's son, Luk Chit is taken into the custody of her mother-in-law, Ng Hang. After eighteen long years, Wong Ka-Nam wishes to see her son again and returns to Hong Kong. However, she is met with adamant resistance from her mother-in-law, who views Ka-Nam as bad luck, blaming her for the death of her son. Highly protective of her grandson and fearing that Wong Ka-Nam will attempt to take him away, Ka Nam's mother-in-law does everything in her power to keep mother and son apart. However, Wong Ka-Nam is ironically assisted by her own son, who befriends her and secures her office job in his advertising agency.

A member of the ICAC Investigators family of miniseries it was first broadcast in 1 September, 2007. The shown was rerun on Friday 27 February 2009 to 5 March 2009 from Monday to Friday at 12:05 am on TVB Jade in Hong Kong.

Inspector YUAI HUI (Lui Leung wai) and girlfriend CHU PAO WEN (Kiki sheung Tien ngor) are close to getting married, but they break due to a minor row. Hui subsequently develops an affair with Lady Senior Inspector LIN HIS YA(Cally Kwong Mei Wan), but their engagement is trouble-ridden. HUI’s sister LI HUNG, a juvenile delinquent, cherishes an unrequited love for HUI’s subordinate MA JO CHI (Wong Shi Ki). LI KUNG accidentally hurts someone and is caught red-handed by her brother. He sets her free and is exposed and gets fired as a result. HUI runs a tourist agent and PAO WEN ruins it out of vengeance, making him bankrupt. HUI then conspires with his cousin YUAN AN to rob. When AN Kills a passer-by in a car accident, HUI bears the brunt and gets jailed. Learning of this, LI HUNG often blackmails AN. AN sends someone to threaten LI HUNG, indirectly causing her death……

So (Dicky Cheung), the only son of a landlord in the countryside, had had a quarrel with a retired eunuch and thus escaped to the city with his fiancee, Kwai (Lam Yi Kei), and his fellowman, Wing (Chiang Chi Kwong). They met Hung and again they started a dispute. In the end, they made peace and So even asked to become Hung’s student. However, Hung refused. So, nevertheless, followed Hung and made friends with his students, Gai (Ho Po Sang), Chi (Andy Hui), Kwan (Tsang Wai Kuen) and Hing (Yip Yuk Ping). Whilst So was having fun at Hung’s school, “Po Chi Lam”, he also started a complicated relationship with Yan (Winnie Lau), who had returned from abroad, and Chu (Gigi Lai), a young prostitute. Then, he had row with Bo (Bobby Au Yeung) who set him up and accused him of wrong doings which also involved Hung and his students. The eunuch with whom So had quarreled also appeared to get his revenge. What could So do?

For example, "Mrs. Shun," portrayed by Lydia Shum, later became a term to describe uneducated women who follow trends blindly. "Chen Ji," played by Lawrence Ng, is a stockbroker who loves to show off his wealth, and his behavior typified that of many Hong Kongers, becoming a byword for the city's nouveau riche.

The show reflects various facets of life in the city, such as government allowances for seniors, subway gate regulations, stock trading, theft, beggars, gambling, and daily household chores.
