Marina,a teacher in high school gets a divorce after many years of marriage.She agrees though to go on a date with Andreas,a succesfull doctor and father one of her students.

When Eva, a little Greek-Romanian girl with a speech impediment, loses both her parents on the same day in an accident, Loukas, her reclusive, racist grandfather who has never met her is the only Greek relative who can take custody of her, yet he stubbornly refuses. The unknown fate of Eva is now assigned to Marina, a social worker from a broken home, who decides to fight alongside Loukas against his past, thus forcing both him and herself to work towards their own salvation for the first time.

Amongst the constantly talking animals of a herd, the basic rule of normality is the theater of conversation. When a young animal loses its voice and goes into hiding, the talking herd can’t accept its weakness and follows the rule, speaking to it using monologues. The young animal remains silent and the talking herd stands confused and unable to decide whether it’s really sick or just pretending. But as the silent, isolated animal struggles to get its voice back, the talking animals surround its cage and the most distrustful of them attacks.

The arrival of children, as seen through the stories of four different couples, just when a pregnancy comes along and conflicts with their lives. A marital crisis becomes a family tragedy; a mad man's gun forces a young couple to reconsider a premature pregnancy; a long struggle of in-vitro fertilizations brings together and forces apart two sterile women who have shared the same man; and a young Iraqi immigrant, all alone in her apartment, is forced to give birth to her child with the help of her Greek stalker and next door neighbor. The stories unfold within a day and collide in a violent and fatal incident.

The fictionalized life story of the most distinguished politician and diplomat, who left an indelible mark on the history of modern Greece, unfolds through a series of re-enactments of the actual events that led to his assassination. Significant aspects of his personal story, valid historical narratives, rare documents, and excerpts from autobiographical texts written by Kapodistrias himself, come into life, in an attempt to bring today’s viewers closer to the unknown sides of his personality and the foundations of the New Greek State.
