A tragic accident lead to Akari's blindness, but she clings to life and the smaller pleasures it can still afford her. She meets Rui and begins to talk to him. Ayumi Aizawa is a lonely young man without a family. He works at Forest Hyde Press Hotel as a cleaner. His deceased grandfather Kenzaburo worked at the same hotel. Fukami is a high school janitor whose father was a gangster.
