It focuses on the life of the main character Frank and Casper. The show builds its comedy around quiet everyday situations, social awkwardness, uncomfortable silences and general faux pas. Klovn usually gets compared to the American sitcom Curb Your Enthusiasm by Larry David. It’s also shot handheld, in a pseudo-realistic style. Some have also mistakenly compared the theme to Curb Your Enthusiasm’s, despite it being a direct reference to Jacques Tati’s Mr. Hulot movies. The poster for the first film can be seen in Casper and Frank’s offices throughout the series. Klovn initially ran 6 seasons on TV2 Zulu from 2005-2009 and was renewed with an additional 3 seasons that aired from 2018-2022.▶+The Black Swan · 2024The Black Swan★ 8.02024SeriesDocumentaryCrimeA female lawyer with connections to much of the Danish underworld decides to break away from her old environment. It aired at 23:00 on DR2 weekly on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The show was hosted by Mikael Bertelsen, and his editor, Mads Brügger would occasionally step in as host for a given programme. Den 11. time included guests such as the then-Danish Minister of Culture, Brian Mikkelsen, but also had foreign guests such as Phillip Blond or even Mikhail Gorbachev, who stated in a letter to the presenters that it was one of the most interesting interviews he ever did. Sometimes the programme would air live, but other times it would be pre-recorded, often to be able to get the subtitles on for non-Danish guests. Though, at times an interpreter in the studio provided the translations. It last broadcast on 21 May 2008, despite large popularity.▶+The Red Chapel · 2010The Red Chapel★ 7.22010MovieComedyDocumentaryTwo Danish comedians join the director on a trip to North Korea, where they have been allowed access under the pretext of wanting to perform a vaudeville act.▶+The Mole: Undercover in North Korea · 2020The Mole: Undercover in North Korea★ 7.12020MovieDocumentaryA real-life undercover thriller about two ordinary men who embark on an outrageously dangerous ten-year mission to penetrate the world's most secretive and brutal dictatorship: North Korea.▶+
