Spain, 1692. The Spanish Inquisition is in decline, and as a result, their followers must be more ruthless than ever.

Estela and Ramón have been through a divorce and the suicide of Hugo, their only child, at the age of 13 years, after suffering bullying. When Estela gets her hands on a video recorded by her son's agressors, she believes the time has come to have a conversation with Ramón. As they discover the reality of what happened to Hugo, they'll try to find out if they could have prevented it and if they were up to the task of being parents.

A city bus is traveling through the city. It stops and an Arab couple gets on. He approaches her nervously. The passengers watch the argument with concern until one of them decides to intervene: "You habibi, sit down..."

A man finds himself at the bottom of a well. No clue as to how he got there. Then, a figure leans in at the top.

After loading her into the vehicle to take her to the nearest hospital, they notice that she is behaving rather strangely. The occupants of the van soon realise that the time has come to fight for their lives, and together they agree on one very simple rule: "do not sit next to her."

Two ambitious women, both orchestra conductors, meet in a gothic mansion and are instantly drawn to each other. But their attraction is complicated when they discover they’re rivals for the same prestigious job.
