There are only three ways out, by boat, by plane, or by Gringa. Manuel (Nirvado Carillo) is a destitute farmhand from the Andes with little hopes for the future. Armed with a manual on how to charm a Gringa, he hopes to get a new start.

Sistu and her small community in the Andes discover the magic of cinema. This meeting causes a stir but also confronts them with their culture and highlights the limitations of the community to understand and read Spanish. As a solution, they choose Sistu so that every week he goes to town to see a movie and tells it to everyone in the square.

13 year-old Killari, is chosen by the Spirit of tutelary gods as a scissors dancer. The famous Peruvian singer Luis Abanto Morales sings Cholo Soy while Cesar Galindo gives justice to indigenous Peruvians in a condensed cinematic sequence of documentary and fictional scenes.
