Brigitte Lin is Sung Hsiao Yu, a young girl in love with Wen Hsing Yu (Charlie Chin), a botanist who's trying to cross-fertilize flowers to create a perfect breed of rose. But Hsing Yu has a rival, Tsui Wen Lun, who despises Wen Hsing Yu for being on better terms with his father AND capturing Hsiao Yu's heart. But when Wen Lun gets in with Hsiao Yu's father, that may be all she wrote. Can Hsiao Yu safely choose her preferred man - Wen Hsing Yu - if it ends up leaving her father in trouble? Or will Hsiao Yu sacrifice love for family?

The forces of evil and black magic are at it again as an ancient warrior is revived in a black magic ceremony. It is up to some young students to train themselves in the martial arts and magic to help defeat this evil man. The good Shaolin monks must also find a way to protect themselves. A couple of ninjas dressed in red appear to attack a priest. A train of hopping zombies on their journey to their ancestral burial ground briefly appear as do some vampires and demons.

Master Lee founded the Koryo Martial Arts Training Hall in Shanghai. Having a common goal, Master Lee and Master Jang of the Chinese 18 Fighting Skill Training Hall set up an anti-Japanese organization. Major Harada of Japanese Special Operations plans to destroy the anti-Japanese organization. On his way to the Korea-China coalition meeting, Master Lee is cut down by Japanese warrior's sword. When Master Lee's son, Lee So-ryong, attacks a Japanese training hall, Harada asks the Chinese National Security Department to take care of him. Sung-ryong of the National Security Department is suspicious of Hwang Baek-sun. Baek-sun has donated funs to the Korea-China coalition but has not been attacked for it. Also, Baek-sun is close friends with Harada. Harada orders his men to get rid of So-ryong and Sung-ryong but they defeat the Japanese warrior and escape.

"The Green Hornet" (a red spandex and cape wearing duo) is called in to assist in rescuing a kidnapped scientist.

Yan-Hong is arrested by Cheng and is interrogated, then she reports to her superior, the leather-clad Dai-Jeh ("Big Sister"), who practices her evil laugh and hands out a whipping as punishment. Later, a dozy Taoist priest is called in to exorcise the Beauty and her Evil Roses. The priest fails, but lays the groundwork for the final showdown between good and evil.

Superstar Casanova Wong stars as a young fighter who after becoming a master at North Shaolin travels to South Shaolin to learn more of the deadly Shaolin martial arts to prepare him for the might of the Northern Mantis Master--Han Ying--who is planning to destroy Shaolin.
