Summer Swing

Before leaving China to study abroad, Xiao Jun goes on a family trip to visit his grandparents after two years of separation. While everything seems to have surprisingly changed, Xiao Jun tries to reconnect with life around him and to finish the photography assignment about his family.

Nick, as a Chinese director, sinks in the sadness of his break-up with Mandy, a Chinese designer, at his birthday night. He watches Mandy's favorite film and keeps drinking, until next day, they encounter each other outside a theatre which feels like a wish.

After having a hard time finding a job in New York, Jiaqi decides to go back to China during the pandemic while her boyfriend Pingu insists to stay for his ambitious thesis film production. However, a sudden announcement interrupts Jiaqi’s plan. During their separation, both of them have a chance to experience a special period of their lives.
