After losing a close person, Olga is left alone with her grief. With no one to share the loss with, she buys a car and goes on a journey around Kyiv and its surroundings. On her way she meets people who have lost themselves: some through constant lies, others because of a bad choice.

Mariupol is an industrial city on Azov sea. I went there as a young sailor 20 years ago. The places alive in my memory are mostly destroyed. The battle-line of the Russian-Ukrainian war is just nearby the city. In the night I can hear the bombing. However, I am looking for the miracle there.

The main exposition of the museum in Avdiivka was dedicated to the Caucasus. In 2015, exposition was partly destroyed due to a Russian projectile. But now in Avdiivka there is again a people's museum - a place where the most wonderful ideas come to life.

Barricades and tents were still on the Maidan several months after the protesters' victory. Some said the revolution wasn't over yet, and the center of Kyiv had to remain occupied. The others thought it was time to start working in regions and governmental offices. In August 2014, municipal services and participants of the Maidan gathered to clean it up. The atmosphere reminded me of the classic Ukrainian novel The Black Council by Panteleimon Kulish.

For several months, Sloviansk was occupied by pro-Russian fighters. Local residents were first in Ukraine to meet tanks, artillery and other modern weapons. Now it is peaceful tourist city, children play on the streets. But what are their games?

Also this film is an attempt to understand who and how determines our future. What unite and divide people. And the humor after sleepless nights.

Elena goes home to the village, located on the front line in the "gray zone" of the Donetsk region, where she spent her childhood. In the garden, so that weeds do not climb on neighboring areas, her brother planted mustard. I remember very vividly the last Ukrainian elections in Donetsk in the spring of 2014. After the Russian occupation of the Crimea and the separatist protests, I wanted to go to the volunteer battalion "Donbass", but there were no more places in it. And I decided to work in the election commission for the early presidential elections in Ukraine and shoot everything on camera.
