This feature-length documentary follows actor Jean-Louis Millette as he travels to Italy to present the play The Dragonfly of Chicoutimi, in which he plays the lead role. Director Jean-Claude Coulbois attempts to unravel the mystery of this protected, hard-to-reach area, which he calls the "actor's territory," where life and theater intertwine and interact.

On the eve of the publication of a biography of Claude Jutra, one of the most famous and celebrated filmmakers in Quebec and Canada, a leak leaked to the press reveals that the book contains anonymous allegations of pedophile acts committed by the filmmaker. The rumor spread like lightning, suddenly igniting the entirety of Quebec society. By finding today some of the main witnesses propelled overnight into the heart of an unparalleled media tornado, the documentary reconstructs with archive images and other previously unpublished images, the sequence of events which led to a rewriting of the story.

Alex has a deeply troubled mind. He also has a seriously dysfunctional - not to say incestuous - family. Why then, has he returned from his merchant seaman job to the rocky coasts of his home? Perhaps he couldn't cut manage to march in his father's footsteps in that job. His mother doesn't seem to mind, and lets him stay at her bed and breakfast hotel. His sister still seems to have the hots for him, just as she does for his (and her) old boyfriend Jean-Louis, who has just shown up. Even his mother seems to find him sexy. All these people appear eager to get their hands on his body, but he's too wrapped up in what's going on inside his head to notice.

Sortie 234 portrays Renaud's passion for Frank. A passion that reaches its bursting point. But between these two poles of attraction, there is Lucille, Frank's love. Lucille, whom Renaud tries to approach. Lucille who becomes the link between the two men. 'Sortie 234' constitutes a trajectory, beings both similar and different will try if not to join, at least to join and understand each other. You never know what can change your life.
