In a land of swords and sorcery, bandits break from their gang to protect a little girl, pitting them against their old friends and former leader who was once like a father to them.

Sara and Alex are getting through hard times: they lost the son they were expecting due to miscarriage and since that day their life changed. Just when she least expected it, Sara finds out to be pregnant but decides to wait the third month before telling Alex not wishing to give him false hopes. Alex, exhausted from work hardships, decides to organize a weekend in the woods among a group of friends. Sara agrees to take part in it, so to not disappoint him, while keeping the pregnancy yet unannounced. When the music box begins affecting Sophie's behavior and health Annabelle seeks the aid of a child psychologist and clairvoyant who soon discover the music box is possessed by an evil spirit who seeks to haunt Sophie and destroy Annabelle. As the haunting intensifies time begins to run out and Annabelle finds herself racing against the music box's melody to defeat the spirit before the last note plays.

Lara Winslet is an expert geologist in volcanology. She is together with her team of work on a volcano to conduct surveys.
