One day, the Kowloon Emperor TSANG Man-choi pays a visit to OR Siu-yat, his guard dog of previous life and a current staff of the Community Improvement Bureau, with an incredible story and request. According to TSANG, the Bureau’s plan to redevelop To Kwa Wan will destroy an ancient seal and unleash a vengeful evil spirit, Princess Kwong Tak, who was murdered by TSANG’s ancestor 400 years ago. To save themselves OR must assist TSANG to destroy the evil spirit. In this rare gem of a martial arts/fantasy short film, the impossible battle between human and spirit is playfully visualised.

All Christians are blessed by the grace of God—and in some cases, their evils are sanctioned. Devoted churchgoers Grace and her mother live together. Out of Christian charity, they often take in teenagers without parental care. Their latest ward is Ching Yi, a young girl suffering from domestic violence. Brought into their home by Pastor Leung, Ching Yi is treated like a sibling by Grace, who enthusiastically shares her faith to the aloof house guest. Grace’s faith is shaken, however, when she accidentally discovers a secret between Ching Yi and Pastor Leung. When the church disguises vile and unspeakable deeds as the will of God, Grace decides to take matters into her own hands.

Facing many hard times and difficulties in life, Tsz-Chun has no one to share with but his toy astronaut. One day in school there was a drama show about space exploration. In between fantasy and reality he embarks on an adventurous journey.

One sunny day during the summer holidays, two brothers have an extraordinary mission to fulfil. The mature elder brother finishes all the housework methodically while taking care of his little brother. His final task is to hang the blanket in the sun, and little brother insists on tagging along. They need to find an ideal location which is not easy as every spot is occupied on such a sunny day. Together they journey on and meet an assortment of characters and challenges.

Wan-yu goes on a farewell trip with her close friend Jack, seeing him off to the airport. During the drive, they ruminate on the departure and the resulting ruptured relationship. Before leaving, Jack entrusts his car to Wan-yu. Underneath Wan-yu’s calm and almost indifferent façade lies a hidden anxiety and confusion, for other than the car, she has to deal with another more complicated problem of her own. Shot as a conversation in a car, the short’s claustrophobic atmosphere heightens the helplessness of the characters. From director Wong Fei, winner of the 15th Fresh Wave Award, comes a quiet and contemplative piece about making difficult decisions amid drastic changes in life.
