The film depicts the strange live-in lifestyle of three people: Yasuko, a 14-year-old girl who insists that all things are equal and sex is no exception, Boku, a university student, and Ryosuke, a photographer for Binimoto. In the past, the only way to prove the true culprit of a crime was through physical evidence and the suspect's confession. For this reason, various torture methods were used to force confessions. However, the principle of confession was rejected in 1879, and torture was abolished. However, this is only on the surface, and torture by police and prosecutors continues to be used subtly to this day. This film is a shocking semi-documentary that exposes the reality of the numerous torture methods that stain history with gruesome blood. The story is divided into three parts and vividly depicts two cases of torture by those in power, one of a brutal lynching that covers the eyes of a husband with a lesbian wife, and another, each of which builds up abnormal sexual excitement amid the bloody scenes.

All the protagonists move about in a Tokyo Bar that has an entire wall taken up with a black-and-white reproduction of a photo of Monument Valley. The action starts as Billy the Kid, in full living color, walks out of the photo and gets a job as a waiter. Along with him on the working staff are a samurai straight out of the history books, a G.I. from World War II, and several other anachronistic characters. The plot (as such) revolves around keeping away the brutal mobsters and thugs who dominate the city streets outside of the bar, making the tavern safe for its easily recognized facsimiles of well-known characters.

The movie revolves around Mitsuba, who studies traditional art of rakugo. Rakugo is a form of comical story telling, sometimes referred to as sit-down comedy. Even though Mitsuba is mediocre at best, he ends up teaching three students.
