The Affront

Deep among the Swiss Alps, winter resorts and old wooden cabins, Georg experiences unusual incidents.

Luana feels trapped; she is frustrated with society, her family, and her job at a crèche. She searches for stability and a sense of belonging, and finds both in the local black metal scene. While accompanying her cousin's band on tour as their social media manager, she falls in love with the charismatic singer, Wiktor. When his more radical views come to light, causing tension within the band, Luana refuses to see the truth and cannot let him go.

A sunny Saturday afternoon in Zurich. In the middle of a crowded square a businessman is lying on a bench, seemingly asleep. Someplace else, a teenager is longing for appreciation. A commuter is fighting the ticket machine. The film shows ten tableaux of everyday situations in the city. The people in them are confronted with small or big problems. Each one of them is a Sisyphos, endlessly rolling the little stones of daily life up the mountain.
