Where Do the Sounds Go

For the past 3 years, La Flèche d'Or, an associative and cultural venue in the 20th arrondissement of Paris, has offered shows and activities based around solidarity. Every month, the artists of the "Soirées Habibi" perform cinema-themed drag shows. The film follows the preparations for the last cabaret of the season.

When young Baptiste meets Cookie Kunty, a young Parisian drag queen, he feels compelled to start a new photographic project.

Fred is a projectionist, like his father. As he has to project a film in Normandy, he convinces him to hit the road together. The road trip will be a journey through clash of generations, drag queens and family affairs.

At a French boarding school for troubled youth in the early 1970's, the Headmaster and his wife decide that their son Daniel, who is fifteen years old but looks younger, should finally go live in the dorm with all the other students, as they do not want it to seem Daniel is receiving any special treatment. Daniel is now faced with the challenge of earning the trust and respect of the other students, who all come from troubled backgrounds.

In their small village, seventeen-year-old Léo and his friends are crazy about makeup. Jules, Léo's older brother, doesn't share his sibling's passion, fearing he'll be the laughing stock among his gang of pals. The night of the village's "open theater" event, against Jules' advice, Léo walks on the stage dressed in drag.

Fred is a drag queen performing on a cabaret stage when he learns that his father, Jean, has died. In the emergency room, he comes face to face with his ghost. Over the three days following this event, Fred and his sister Cassandre try to organize Jean's funeral while Fred seems to be the only one to see him.

A drag show in a Parisian bar. The public only has eyes for the queen of the evening, Cookie Kunty. But from the back of the theatre, Baptiste, her boyfriend, may be looking at her for the last time.

While with one of his clients, the young male prostitute Cédric receives a voicemail from his mother. She is going through detoxification and desperately wants him to come and visit her. Cédric embarks on a journey through Paris, attempting to get to her as fast as he can against all the odds.

Henry and Clement are in a relationship for one month in Paris. The last night before Henry goes back to London, where he studies, Clement comes to his hotel to surprise him. But when he arrives at the door, he hears that Henry is with another man in the room...
