To the Question of the Dialectic of the Perception of Art, or Lost Dreams

"У.Е." means "условная единица" in Russian or "CU" (conventional unit) in English. A conditional unit is a euphemism used in Russia to denote a monetary amount in a foreign currency (usually US dollars) or an equivalent amount of a dollar in rubles at an official or exchange rate. The retired 50-year-old FSB colonel at his own risk and continues to investigate the case, because of which he was sent to retirement, and is drawn into a swirl of events related to the leakage of Russian capital abroad and the fight against international terrorism.

Liquidation is a highly popular Russian television series, which parallels the famous The Meeting Place Cannot Be Changed with notable ethical shift. In the "Meeting Place", chief of criminal investigations Gleb Zheglov had a modus operandi "Thief must go to prison, no matter how I put him there". In Liquidation, chief of criminal investigations David Gotsman's motto has changed to "Thief must go to prison, but lawfully so". The stars of the film include famous Russian actors such as Vladimir Mashkov and Konstantin Lavronenko. Sergei Makovetsky had to replace Andrey Krasko, who died of heart attack during the filming.

1745. The reigning Empress Elizabeth Petrovna is infertile. The only heir is her feeble-minded nephew Peter III. Elizabeth cannot allow Peter to ascend to the throne, so she decides to marry the tsarevich, wait for the birth of her son, and then take the boy and raise him as a real Russian emperor herself. Brides are coming to St. Petersburg. Among them is the lovely Fike - the young Princess Sofia Frederica from the impoverished branch of the Prussian kings.

Fitil is a popular Soviet/Russian television satirical/comedy short film series which ran for about 500 episodes. Some of the episodes were aimed at children, and were called Фитилёк, Fitilyok, Little Fuse. Each issue contained from the few short segments: documentary, fictional and animated ones. Directed by various artists, including Leonid Gaidai who presented his famous trio of Nikulin, Vitsin and Morgunov into the cast. It was called in USSR as "the anecdotes from the Soviet government".

In a remote Siberian village, a work injury sends Vasily Kuziakin on a paid trip to a Black Sea resort as compensation. There, he meets femme fatale Raisa Zaharovna and decides to stay with her. Such is the beginning of a new life for him, exciting and strange, but lacking his home, his wife and children, and his pigeons.

Living together in a workers' dorm, Katerina and her friends are determined to make it in Moscow. But when a boorish cameraman forces himself on her, Katerina finds herself pregnant and alone as her friends move on. Twenty years later, Katerina is a factory director, outpacing her old roommates career-wise, yet still alone but for her daughter. Love seems possible again when she meets a genial mechanic.

Ivan Mirosnikov, a cheeky young man in the Gorbachev era, is trying to figure out what to do with his life (he's not in college, and the 2-year mandatory military service is looming large ahead of him). Meanwhile, he lives with his divorced mother, and works as a courier at a Russian newspaper. Through his job, he meets patronizing Professor Kuznetzov and his rebellious daughter Katya. To annoy the professor, Ivan claims to have an affair with Katya. To his surprise, Katya backs his story up.

1942. Young men, graduates of a reconnaissance school, develop and carry out extremely complex operations behind enemy lines.

Policeman Pavel Kravtsov is a rather strange man. If he has to handcuff someone, he apologizes and asks if he is pressing. He is ambitious but honest; he is young but thoughtful. With such inclinations, you can't really make a career in the city police. So a city man, senior Lieutenant Kravtsov, gets through to the remote village of Anisovka by an ordinary district police officer.

The series is about a former motorcycle racer, champion of a motorcycle track, who, having become an alcoholic, moonlights as a driver and tries to stop drinking and improve his life.

Psychologist Petrov and sociologist Burtsev are invited by Basov, the director of a factory, to study the basic problem of production.

The humorous show of Yuriy Stoyanov, in which the master of parodies and reincarnations will offer the viewer a whole gallery of funny characters. And a galaxy of wonderful artists will help him, many of which will appear in a completely new and unexpected role.

The main character is an average person with average parameters: a wife, two children, a modest job, a modest salary. There is nothing unusual about Sergei Nedelin, except for one strange hobby: he likes to wander through the evening streets, look into windows and storefronts. Life is raging everywhere, and only his existence seems poor and squalid to him.
