Curupira: O Demônio da Floresta

Erlanes, a solo musician, seeks to form a band in São Luís, joining forces with the eccentric Guida, the naive Sorriso, and the talented percussionist Nikima. Facing personal and financial challenges, they face the villainous schemes of Zé Mucura and his gang.

A group of friends aims to be successful with his band. Chasing his dream they accidentally find a scroll that leads to a hidden treasure in the São Luís island. They believe that finding this treasure may finance the band and achieving fame. What they do not know is that the city of São Luís and all its inhabitants depend on their help to avoid being destroyed by a giant mythological creature.

Fátima is a woman who left São Luís do Maranhão for Rio de Janeiro to fulfill her dream of being a singer. As the years go by, her dream becomes more and more distant and she finds herself forced to exchange stages for tarot cards.
