The Abduction of Balthazar Sponge

The Abduction of Balthazar Sponge (Polish: Porwanie Baltazara Gąbki) is a Polish-language fantasy animated series produced by Studio Filmów Rysunkowych from 1969 to 1970, that was based on 1965 children's book Porwanie Baltazara Gąbki by Stanisław Pagaczewski. The series had 1 season consisting of 13 episodes, each lasting from 6 to 7 minutes. The episodes were directed by Władysław Nehrebecki, Alfred Ledwig, Edward Wątor, Józef Byrdy, Bronisław Zeman, Wacław Wajser, and Stanisław Dülz, while the scrips were written by Zofia Olak and Leszek Mech. The series had a sequel ,Wyprawa profesora Gąbki, that was produced from 1978 to 1980.

Adventure with a Song

Based on motifs from Jurandot and Sart's operetta "Miss Polonia," this musical comedy tells the story of a star of the Opole Festival who tries to make a career in Paris. After winning the Audience Award at the Opole Festival, young singer Mariola leaves for Paris to pursue a career there. However, her performances are not successful. She tries to hide this fact and uses various methods to sign a contract. Her beloved, the young composer Piotr, discovers the truth about her alleged career, while at the same time rejecting offers from a star who is interested in him and wants to promote his songs. Piotr and Mariola return to Warsaw.

Mr. Rzepka and His Shadow

Kind-hearted Mr. Rzepka has a weakness for alcohol. Under the influence of strong drinks, he experiences a duality in his shape and shadow. This shadow is prone to risk and exposes it to various dangers. As a result, Mr. Rzepka begins to fear his own shadow.

Black or White

A black and white fairy tale with a card motif, in which red - the color of passion appears only with the feeling between the Prince and Princess. The alchemy of love is not a simple equation or a mixture of colors.
