Manu, a trans immigrant, must return to her native Chile after 10 years in France. In the days leading up to her departure, Manu’s platonic friend Daniel proposes marriage with the intention of solving her visa issues. Manu strongly considers the offer, but she’s wholly disheartened at the prospect of a life without love, romance, and sex—that is, until she meets a fellow foreigner who instills in her the hope for a romantic future.

Yermén is a transsexual woman in her mid-thirties that works as a tarot reader, and lives in the emblematic low-income neighbourhood of La Victoria. Looking for a sex reassignment, she decides to try for a plastic surgery TV show, where she will meet an enigmatic immigrant who wants to get an operation to look like Naomi Campbell.

Three Chilean performance artists who live with HIV, meet in complicity and affectivity on the maritime edge of the Pacific Ocean to carry out a ritualistic and poetic action where seropositive biographies, feelings and experiences intersect. The encounter and the entrance to the sea, as a return, allows that, being inside, a flame of fire emerges as a symbol of regeneration and transformation of things: light in mortuary memory. Fire, lives and ocean in its immensity.
