Five twenty-somethings, in search of an authentic life, move into an isolated country house full of books. Living in the carelessness of youth, with time, practical problems and the immature nature of young people create tension. Everyone has romanticized the idea of an independent and responsibility-free life – running away from reality, they run right into it.

Einarrative

Instead of Einars Pelšs' eighth poetry book, he publishes his collected works, but the buyer of the book receives an ordinary brick. He translates the authors of the Russian Golden Age and publishes them under his own name, challenging the boundaries of literature. Is a poet who makes fun of art unique or exactly what we expect from contemporary authors? Einarrative is an extraordinary story that portrays the narrative of the life of Einārs Pelšs. In the film, this narrative is an experience of contrasting changes both in its visual style and in Einars’ poetic works and personality, allowing him to get involved in the depiction of the narrative himself, making the film as Einārs Pelšs' audiovisual collected works.

Farmlands

Farmers work and live in close connection with nature, its rhythms and changes, and have learned to adapt to any conditions. During their lifetime, they have to experience the change of seasons countless times, as well as many other cyclical phenomena, such as the birth of new calves, the clearing and regrowth of forests, etc. The farmer's best friends - dogs, cats - also play a major role in this cyclical life, accompanying them and keeping them company in their daily chores and moments of relaxation.

Grestomathy

Jānis Greste collected various objects throughout his life and hoped that they would be useful for education in the future. His energy was harder than a rock. A hundred years ago, he created the the beginning of the modern Latvian National Museum of Literature. That is why even today we can see a piece of soap that Emīls Dārziņš used to wash himself with, or a board on which Rainis wrote.
