A man is bombarding his environment by throwing everything he owns out of his balcony. The peace is lasting only for a short time, until a fly starts to trouble him again.

In a veritable firework display of digital self-portraits, hundreds of quaint, embarrassing and dreadfully disturbing selfies were arranged in a unique short film composition. Single photos, artistically reworked, consolidate to form a ghastly grin that outshines the abyss of human existence.

At the mercy of the dentist's chair, the protagonist cannot escape the confrontation with pain and the dregs of the miserable human condition. To distract himself, he takes refuge in a fantasised story of fishermen and the sea.

An old man boards a cable car and heads up the mountain. Along the way he takes some snuff, sneezes, and things start to fall apart... literally. Good thing he has some tape.

Pico discovers black spots on his neck. He goes to the doctor. A trip to hell begins. His counterpart is a young and arrogant doctor, eager to make money. Pico starts to doubt in the decisions of the god in white.

The dictator's shouts are broadcast over the radio to every corner of the country. A fire is flickering in the stove, and an old woman makes provisions for the approaching winter.

Small dog Poldek lives with a poor old lady in a small one-room apartment. The tenement block is part of a tumbledown grey town out in the nowhere, forgotten by prosperity. The dog is hungry, howles and eats flies that are magically attracted by the old woman. She leaves home every day to seek some eatable stuff. An unsavoury little horrorstory with a lot of action.

ISLANDER'S REST is a bitter-sweet, affectionate tale of innocence lost, bottled-up desires and the comfort of recycling.
