For several years now, Gianni Asdrubali's artistic research has been carrying on a discourse on the concept of emptiness, up to its development in an adimensional frontal surface. Zakkete is an attempt to translate part of his work into a filmic dimension, bearing in mind the gestural nature of Asdrubali's work.

In 1971, painter Giuseppe Capogrossi, architect Maurizio Sacripanti and sculptor Alfio Castelli won a contest for an ‘artistic fence’ that would enclose the Faculty of Law building in Bari (Italy). Completed in 1972, this piece of public art is now forgotten and degraded. S MMM is a revisitation of the shapes of that fence, a homage to that passionate confrontation of practices that led to that project.

A contrada retraced at a distance of years finds its vanishing point in the image of Castel del Monte. The building, characterized by the recurrence of the number eight, loses its firmitas to shine in the form of fireworks.

Texts and colors derived from some of the works of visual artist Francesco Impellizzeri characterize this film, where the structure of the TV intermission combines different colors with a decisive musical component.

Natale Nazista is an ironic and caustic reflection on an aberrant "nostalgia for dictatorship", or rather on the insidious nature of political and economic power capable of acting pervasively on the collective consciousness to the point of becoming acquiescence and convinced acceptance.

Uncle Pino is a hoarder: he lives among bags and clothes, electronic gadgets of dubious functionality, and Hello Kitties that light up. He navigates meanderings dominated by random objects, each with a story, a trace of a conscious, albeit atypical, path.
