Love at War

A filming crew meets Harry Houde, a charismatic, yet polarizing and unethical private detective from Quebec City. After a few weeks, they all go to Gaspesia, where Harry hopes he can find a woman who has been missing for 5 years.

In the 1980s, low-key hustlers who took advantage of the James Bay Project to enrich themselves try to protect their assets despite the end of the work and the exile of the workers.

A documentary film crew investigates whether Richard Cloutier, who went missing for five months in the summer of 2020, was actually kidnapped or not, as he claims in media and on the Internet. But as the investigation progresses and new facts emerge, reality itself seems to start crumbling.
