Quiet About Nothing

Sonja is a talented athlete. When Sonja’s brother gets mixed with local mafia boss and makes a mistake, he goes after them. This sparks a chain reaction which involves a murder, and a police investigation.

The film follows the people and workers of Xi'an through the whole process of making a bowl of the local special - Biang Biang noodles. The landscapes tell a story of their own, as do the faces of the people.

Jovana, a single, working-class mother, wants to spend her birthday with her daughter Sara, but her plans are ruined when Sara invites her father to come.
