A Dutch mockumentary about children and their ambitious parents' quest for fame at a local talent show in the small town of Bannebroek.

Theo and Thea want to make a movie of Snow White, but Gerard Joling, who should play prince, cries off. Someone suggests to ask opera singer Marco Bakker. In the guest-house of sister Klivia, the inhabitants are very cheerful and good-hearted persons whose open communal lifestyle is contrasted with the life of somewhat nasty and complaining neighbour Mr Boordevool. Boordevool has spent ages looking for reasons to shut the guest-house. One day a girl from the guest-house meets a nice young guy Gerrit. Sister Klivia lets Gerrit stay regardless of him being a thief. Will that give a chance to the insinuations of the neighbour?

Television adaptation/registration of the theatre program by the Dutch children's theatregroup RoTheater. The play is a comical adaptation of the fairytale of Puss in Boots.

While the other students make shameless attempts to catch a millionaire, Ellis turns out to be a heartbreaker for the lonely millionaire! Everyone tries to impress her in their own way... But who will win Ellis' heart? Will she choose wealth, stability, or passion?
