After succeeding his father in 306 and being acknowledged as the sole Emperor of the West in 310, he enacted significant military, economic, and religious reforms that unified the empire. This documentary explores his life and reign, highlighting his role in ending the persecution of Christians and the transition from polytheistic beliefs. It also touches on his personal intrigues, including the murder of his concubine Fausta, showcasing his complex legacy of power and grandeur.

The Krautrock band Lokomotive Kreuzberg set itself the goal of combining music with trade union activism. From 1972 to 1977, it toured Germany with cabaret and songs such as ‘Solidaritätslied’ (The Solidarity Song) ‘Lohnpredigt’ (Wages Sermon) or ‘Geldsack’ (Moneybags).
