The Alishan Uprising

Biopic of the life and death of the legendary Bruce Lee, played by Bruce Li.

A masterful kung fu student must face all challengers to his honor and his school. He must battle Western boxers in the ring and Thai boxers in the street in order to prove the validity of Chinese Kung fu and to save his friends from dishonor. He even takes the rap for a murder he did not commit to save his friend.

The heroes pose as gun dealers and acrobats in order to get close to the bad guys so they can avenge the death of one of their brothers.

A spoilt rich kid turns up at a fu school to show off, but he gets clobbered by the boastful Little Tiger, who is later framed for the kid's murder when a gang of blackmailers make an example of him. The police allow Tiger to escape, in order to find the real culprits. Tiger hides at his girlfriend's place, but a model she works with does some whoring on the side for the blackmailer, and so the crooks are onto his trail...

The happy lives of animals in the forest are stirred by the sudden attack of a pack of wolves. Uncle Deer comes to the rescue, and asks Birdy to notify his son, the Deer Warrior. Deer and his rival, Sika Deer fight for the love of Miss Deer while Foxy mingles with the leader of the wolves, desiring to be the prettiest in the land. A truly bizarre family (?) film from critic and pioneer Chang Ying.

In the meantime, Special Agent 001 leads the resistance against the Japanese. After Ling-Yun returns to Shanghai from the UK, he is surprised to find out his ex-lover has become the wife of his uncle Chao-Chun. Special Agent 001 continues their sabotage and the identify of the agent finally is revealed. The first Taiwanese-language spy film produced in Taiwan, The Best Secret Agent is a remake of the 1945 movie of the same name that caused a sensation in Shanghai.

The fourth film of the 5-film series The Best Secret Agent series of taiyupian (Taiwanese-language cinema), which was also dubbed into a Mandarin version.
