Distort 2: The Dead Among the Trees follows a documentary crew investigating the disturbing tapes and local legends surrounding a woman who vanished deep within an Irish forest. As they retrace the events captured in the original recordings, the team begins experiencing the same strange and terrifying phenomena, suggesting the darkness in the woods was never truly gone.

A famed writer comes home to an Irish castle to complete his long overdue second novel, but is plagued by a rogues' gallery of local villagers who refuse to leave him alone. As time passes and he struggles to finish his book, their intrusions become increasingly disruptive and eventually, more sinister.

Two years after the death of his beloved wife, Pat O'Brien summons his children back to their homestead in the west of Ireland. Fionn travels from New York, Gareth from London, and daughter Una returns from Dublin, fearing the worst. Pat is not the only family member bearing the burden of a secret. The O’Briens is a modern comedy about a dysfunctional Irish family and the town they grew up in.

In November of 2017, a broken video camera and smart phone were recovered from a recycling centre. The camera houses a memory card that contained disturbing and unexplainable material.
