Chandan

A rich businessman, Dayashankar Kumar (Shivraj), who is a widow, lives with his two young sons Ashok and Raj. When he catches the younger boy Raj stealing money, he punishes him and threatens to cut off his fingers. A frightened Raj runs away from home. Years pass and the older brother Ashok (Ashok Kumar), becomes the owner of his father's business and property, running Superior Motors, which also extends to Bombay. Ashok is married to Lakshmi (Nirupa Roy) and is a caring and loving husband. They have a young son, Munna (Daisy Irani).

A rich, happy-go-lucky young man lives with his faithful man-servant. The young man gets married to a well-to-do woman who is more educated than him, and she changes him to a more responsible person

The action revolves around two friends played by Vyjayanthimala and Anjali Devi. In Tamil.

A wealthy Kishore always ready to help the poor.He travels to Bombay to be with his cousin Raj whose a womanizer and has ditched many women.Raj and Kishore go for hunting in Jungle where Raj meets a man who ask shim to marry his daughter whom he had cheated but Raj kills him and frames Kishore for the murder whose then on the run from police.

Raja lives a wealthy lifestyle with his somewhat upper Caste Hindu, eccentric, woman-hating dad, Hazurdas, and mom. He is friendly with Kishore, and both are aspiring doctors. On their way to college, they meet with two young women, Rani Mehra and Kamini.

A king Parthiban (Ramadas) gifts a rare anklet (salangai) to a dancer Aparajita (Kumari Madhuri). She begets the king's son, Amarendran and hands him over to a priest along with the anklet. Amarendran also happens to meet a beautiful singer Shantha (Savithri), who falls in love with her and this plot forms the rest of the story.
