According to Vyrypaev’s idea, “Excitement” is a play about the “Author”. The action takes place in New York, in Manhattan, in the apartment of the famous American writer of Polish descent Ulie Richte, whose role is played by Alice Freindlich. A Polish journalist, Krzysztof Zelinsky, takes a very important interview from her, a closed and non-public person.

The main character of this one - Antonina - a wife, mother, mistress of the house, wakes up after an unusually bright dream and realizes that she has not lived her whole life as she wanted. There were strangers around, people she didn't like, and it wasn't her life at all. She realizes this so clearly that even at the funeral of her own husband, Antonina does not cry, is not killed, and it seems that this death does not concern her at all. And this is despite the fact that my husband lived a long and prosperous life...

The film takes place a few years after the events shown in Bummer. Kostyan "Kot", who lost all his friends, the woman he loved and was nearly killed in the first installment of the film tries to begin a new, peaceful life. But is it possible to do? Has Russia changed and do "bratki" on black "bummers" no longer control business? Can he escape his past?

They saw each other only once. At a wedding with lots of alcohol. Their eyes met and that was it. They didn't understand rationally what happened to them but they felt that they cannot keep living and breathing without each other. Cosmic magnetism with irresistible intensity pulled them together. Well! Again "Kvartirnik"– now on a different occasion, but with the same energy!
