BE WILD - NORMALITY IS RADICAL

Joe, a lonely employee at the lost and found office projects his desperate longing for a relationship onto a found mannequin. Fueled by the online incel community (involuntary celibate), he spirals into a tragic escalation of his fears that ultimately drives him to despair.

A creepy meeting in the woods with an uncanny creature snatches a lonely man away from his monotonous life. A journey begins, pushing him beyond the limits of his mental and physical resilience.

Two young lovers have a problem that they neither can explain nor solve. Facing the immaturity of youth, they have to confront each other in a moment of pure intimacy. On what can you rely when your head is set against your heart?

In today's climate debate, there is only one factor that cannot be calculated in climate models - humans. How can we nevertheless understand our role in the climate system and manage the crisis? Climate change is a complex global problem. Increasingly extreme weather events, rising sea levels, and more difficult living conditions - including for us humans - are already the order of the day. "THE UNPREDICTABLE FACTOR" goes back to the origins of the German environmental movement, accompanies today's activists in the Rhineland in their fight against the coal industry and gives a voice to scientists from climate research, ethnology and psychology.

In July of 2021 there was a flood of catastrophic scope in the Ahrtal Region of Germany. 135 people lost their lives and countless others lost their possessions, their homes, their most treasured mementos. Told by a horse’s voice and through its eyes, this short film still is a documentary, but also a poetic journey to a nomadic culture.

At Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, a man jumps over a barrier. Within seconds, five police officers catch him and push him to the ground. He laughs loudly. Evidently, this is exactly what he was aiming for. Dario is disappointed with current climate policies and sees only one solution: strike out and resist. His resistance has already led to several outstanding criminal proceedings against him in Germany. A request from Switzerland comes at just the right moment to prove himself further: the activist group “Klimastreik” is looking for someone who is willing to commit a “crime”.
