With the layering of picture (double exposure, flowing changes of images, frosen image, solarisation) and sound, the artists and the objects in the television studio merged into electronic sensations - an infinite series of over-illuminated, perforated and broken images. The video was made on the basis of the multimedia project (screening and installation) of the same title, and it was presented as 'the deconstruction of screening' in the framework of experimental programme on television. The Wracked piano is a movie of an old, abandoned piano Bösendorfer model 225, who lives in the studio of Radio Slovenia. The story is being told in a documentary language through fiction and animation.

The original idea was based on the Palimpsest concept, mirrored on billboard advertising panels throughout Lebanon. Billboards alone are showing us an unprecedented crisis that the country is going through and has multiple and complicated facets. Like a draft of the key sequence saturated with crumbled remains of commercial and political ads, it shows the starting point of the whole story, intertwining the artistic and the commercial, the avant-garde and the kitsch.
