A Day Out

Lifelong rivalry between police inspector and professional criminal escalates on New Years Eve, 1990.

After a day spent outside the apartment, the young woman is relieved to return to it. However, there are many things to be done here as well, prepare a meal, do laundry, entertain herself with television and the Internet. What is conceptually self-care and rest, is in facet a series of jobs that involve the use of machines. The small intimate space is gradually filled with the noise of these machines. The situation is absurd and exhausting.

An extremely untalented bunny Darko takes singing lessons from Zvonko the cricket. Their lessons are a total failure. Both the teacher and the pupil are devastated. Željko the hedgehog brings a new perspective to the problem, turning Darko's flaws into advantages.

Socialist Croatia, sometime during the mid-1980s. During a play at a local elementary school, one of the contestants notices that an audience member is acting very suspicously, which piques her curiosity.

Distracted by the forest's beauties on her way to Grandma, the Little Red Riding Hood loses the food basket. Having observed this, the Wolf retrieves the basket, delivers it to Grandma and the two have a good laugh about the event.
