Hungary, 1944 - The main character is an old shepherd, who lives alone on a ranch. After his daughter got killed by Nazis, he decided in his grief to save as many Jewish lives as possible.

A group of girlfriends arrive at a forest lodge to celebrate, but things take a horrific turn as they realize that the forest is home to bloodthirsty lunatics who perceive themselves to be characters from classic fairy tales.

Two young friends spend their last late summer afternoon together on the shores of Lake Balaton. One is going to university, the other is staying behind. At the gateway to adulthood, they make one last childish bet before parting ways.
