A Light Never Goes Out

A washed-up action choreographer, struggling to find his way in a changing industry, risks everything to stage an epic comeback, and attempts to repair the relationship with his estranged daughter before it's too late.

Siew and his family live in Hong Kong. When they arrived Malaysia, they meet Cui-Fong, a tour guide who is a cunning schemer; Pumpkin BB, a local backpacker; Orchid, a hostel owner who look a lot like their mother. During the trip from Kuala Lumpur to Cameron Highland, Siew's family had met these three people, whom introduced them to whole new experiences and romance they have never had before. On the way, they also faced lots of problems and challenges. In the end, they intruded a local aboriginal village, and almost ruin the entire ‘Cloud Sea’ tour, and the newly built relationship among Siew's family. Can Siew’s family unite and solve the problem together, and succeeded in saving the ‘Cloud Sea’ tour? Can they help those strangers they met to released themselves, and lead them toward good endings? Most importantly, could this trip help Siew's lifeless family to regain happiness?

A girl was kidnapped by a man whose behavior resembles that of animal. Locked up in a warehouse, she became lunatic after being raped and tortured, her subconscious state deeply ruined as she can never escape in reality.

Jean finds herself trapped in a surreal space, in which all females wear the same costumes and make-up with zealous and desperate chants of "One husband one wife, one man one woman, and one covenant for a lifetime". She is trapped in Marryland, in which desperate girls devote all their efforts on dating guys. There is only one rule for every girl who wants to leave: get married. The plot to escape with a fellow inmate foiled, with the inmate sent to a fate worse than being in hell: the wasteland called Lonelyland. Will Jean ever escape the tyranny and find her way out of Marryland?
