“I am God”, said Mansour Hallaj and refused to answer the questions his statement provoked. Instead, he calmly awaited his execution. Eleven hundred years later, modern playwright Nader follows in Hallaj’s footsteps. A tragic history repeats itself, once again accompanied by a curious crowd and an accepting silence.
