After the discovery of a suitcase hidden in the family home of Francisco Martínez Gascón, known as Kautela, a photojournalist who lived through the Spanish Civil War from the perspective of the rebel side, his granddaughter decides to carry out an investigation into his life and work.

Carmen, a well-known writer on her fifties, has returned a year ago to a farmhouse in the small town where she was born, in Bajo Aragón (Teruel, Spain). Her vital crisis is complicated when Eduardo, a film producer with whom she had a love affair twenty years ago reappears in her life.

After a serious car accident that took the life of his wife, Keith finds himself confined to a wheelchair and imprisoned in his 4th floor walk-up apartment. Lonely and understandably questioning his faith, Keith is visited by his long time priest counsellor Father Salvo, home health care supervisor Julia, and his best friend Carlos. Keith struggles to decipher reality from his own dreams, delusions, and perception of death as he mourns the loss of his wife and struggles with a severe case of post-traumatic stress disorder.

A documentary which follows the actor Carmelo Gómez as he tours Spain in his rickety car, evoking Federico García Lorca's play "La Barraca" in the midst of the pandemic. With music, narration and interviews, it delves into Lorca's work, while interspersing fictional and surreal scenes that illustrate his verses.

Thanks to his life and work, Goya remains as one of the most capable artists when capturing the human condition, and the most rigurous portrayer of the society of his time.
