The relationship between a son and his mother can be the pinnacle of love between two people, but it can also mean an unavoidable distance when trying to talk about the unsaid. A Sunday lunch seems like the ideal occasion to try to bridge that gap.

The documentary aims to portray the protagonist while exposing different areas in which he performs. The film not only accompanies him during the creation of murals, exhibits and curatorships in several countries, but also challenges the established social parameters since Elian, who was born with dissident body, has lived and lives outside both ideological and physical norms.

Lucas and Javier are a twenty years old couple whose life has drawn them to take an important decision. During the time together they’ve been through ups and downs, but none of them were as tough as loosing a family member. Despite their pain and the looming shadow of a sickness, they enjoy a lunch date in the comfort of their home.
