The Nurguhuns

Shocked by the suicide of his only relative, the hunter Yegor comes from the taiga to the city and brings witnesses to the death of his daughter - young guys - to the altar of the bloody goddess Ilbis. Mysterious murders rock the northern city. Egor meets Kira, the same age as his daughter, and a strange relationship begins between the hunter and the nymphet.

From dozens of cities, you will always recognize your city – you will recognize it by its squares, by its streets, by its colors, by its breath, by its joys and troubles, and by its love. Four directors will tell four romantic love stories in our city: the love of spouses who have already begun to forget about it; the love of wayward parents for children; the love of life, beautiful and disturbing, and even the love of the very feeling of love. The characters of the film are worried and happy, work honestly, walk noisily and look for love without end. The beating of their hearts is the rhythm of the city. Recognize your city in every frame and look at Yakutsk, which you did not know.

The directorial debut of Sergei Potapov, a well-known director of original performances in his homeland, is capable of deeply touching any spectator. This movie will make the viewer feel. The painting is designed in a typical Asian style. The plot is built around two brothers. One of them is mentally ill, and the other can hardly be called "normal". Both brothers dream of the same thing. Rob the bank and leave the city. One chose Mexico and the other chose Hollywood. He dreams of becoming an actor. But their plans were not destined to come true. The ending of the film will make even the most staunch admirers of thrillers shudder. The mood of the picture and the denouement are very reminiscent of the vivid works of modern cult Asian directors.

After moving to a new house, the hero meets an unknown girl-neighbor and immediately becomes a witness of inexplicable events. Trying to understand the mystical events, the hero enters into a confrontation with the girl's father, who keeps a shocking secret.

All the negatives of everyday life and lack of money fall on Nyurgun, the hero simply drowns in a bunch of everyday problems. The main character does not have a truly close person who could lend him a helping hand. On the one hand, Nyurgun gets what he deserves, but in fact he is a good, kind fellow. And he has the most precious thing — his children, who become the salvation for the hero.

The story is based on real events, a journey of a popular Moscow actor to shoot a film in Yakutia. Through his eyes, we see the mysterious worlds of "Olonkho" culture in the Sakha republic and of the contemporary Yakut film tradition, with all its national uniqueness. In this island of creativity very different people unite to create rather than destroy.

The arthouse project is based on the famous play of the same name by William Shakespeare. According to the plot, the family sends the main character to a boarding house, where the main actions of the semi-documentary experiment of the eminent director will unfold. The filming, by the way, took place in a real boarding house for the elderly and people with disabilities. The roles were performed by residents of this institution.

The beautiful Ayyinu, the daughter of a rich Moyuos, is kidnapped by the lonely outcast Er Sootoh (Sogotoh). To save the girl, her future fiance, the son of Prince Sette Timeh, rushes with his squad of thugs. Envy, betrayal, and the desire for possession are entwined in a tight tangle of human weaknesses and passions. The girl's meeting with Er Soothe changes the meaning of her whole life. The main character is well aware that this battle may be his last. Can love conquer death?

Every year the Sakha people celebrate the festival of summer - Ysekh. This ethnic holiday celebrates the Aiyy deities and the revival of nature; it embraces ritual prayers, plenty of rich food and koumiss, dancing, folk games, and horse races. Jehegey Aiyy is a serene deity worshiped by people. Jehegey gave horses to humans, and now is the heavenly patron of horse raising. In the majority of recorded songs and legends Jehegey is a male creature, but in some of them it has feminine gender and is called sylgy aiyhyta. According to legends it sometimes appears to people as a loudly neighing light-colored stallion.
