Don't Guess Love

Yakutia in the 1960s. A boy named Vanya returns home after spending six years in hospitals following a spinal injury. However, the happiness of his reunited family is short-lived: his mother dies in childbirth. To comfort the children, their father tells them about a distant, magical land where Siberian cranes dance, explaining that their mother has transformed into one of those beautiful and sacred birds. From that moment, Vanya dreams of witnessing the rare dance of Siberian cranes and meeting his mother, reborn as a bird.

From dozens of cities, you will always recognize your city – you will recognize it by its squares, by its streets, by its colors, by its breath, by its joys and troubles, and by its love. Four directors will tell four romantic love stories in our city: the love of spouses who have already begun to forget about it; the love of wayward parents for children; the love of life, beautiful and disturbing, and even the love of the very feeling of love. The characters of the film are worried and happy, work honestly, walk noisily and look for love without end. The beating of their hearts is the rhythm of the city. A young family with a baby is visiting elderly parents living in a remote northern village. Suddenly, their child becomes sick with dysentery. There is no necessary medicine in the village, the telephone line was cut off, and the roads were washed out due to the spring flood. The young father Vanya decides to get to the regional center on his own in order to call a Sunrise to the village. But the road ahead is long and dangerous.

Based on real events of 1976, the film "Triumph" tells the story of the ascent to Olympus of Yakut wrestlers - Roman Dmitriev, Pavel Pinigin and Alexander Ivanov, whose names thundered throughout the world. Their path to success is inextricably linked with the personality of the outstanding coach Dmitry Korkin - a legendary man, a born teacher, innovator and educator. Korkin's name is forever inscribed in the history of the origin and triumphant development of freestyle wrestling in Yakutia.
