After witnessing the brutal murder of his mother, Ma-ryong grows up intent on revenge and sets out to become a master of martial arts. When Ma-ryong kills his mother’s murderer, Il-pyung, the son of Ma-ryong’s enemy, seeks a master to learn how to fight. Ma-ryong and Il-pyung form a bond as master and apprentice leading to an inevitable showdown.

Gon-bong cut the leg of a competing mafia group's boss and got on the bad side of the number two of his own group. Out of desperation, he jumps in front of Sae-ju's car. Sae-ju is also suicidal, a former doctor who lost his wife and child due to his mistake. He meets Jae-rim who has a terminal disease but remains optimistic. They all lead very different lives, but they feel curiosity about each other.

Miss Jin, a female detective, meets the head of a human trafficking organization in an undercover plan to destroy it. But she falls into their trap and gets caught. Jin's younger brother and two young men who both have unrequited love for Jin try to save her, but they fail due to the appearance of The Twin Light Brothersrothers. However, Detective Kim defeats The Twin Light Brothers and rescues Jin from the villain's lair.

Chun-bo and Bong-dal are members of a bandit who voluntarily claim to be Im Kek-jeong's subordinates. They didn't even know that there was a horse plaque on the clothes of the fishermen, and they were yangban and decided to play the role of a real female haenger. They perform good deeds such as scolding Tamgwan-duck for the unfair and powerless people and distributing grain to poor residents.

Dragon Lee stars as Baek-chon, a small time gangster who quickly rises to power following a shake up in his organization. The gang boss was shot and, before succumbing to his wounds, proclaims Baek-chon to be his successor. Per his chief's final instructions, Baek-chon makes each member of the gang sign a document in blood declaring the rules of conduct of the gang. First and foremost is that no one will deal in drugs. Naturally, all of this doesn't sit well with Hyun-tae, another gangster who resents Baek-chon's rise to power and seeks to exploit the lucrative nature of narcotics. Hyun-tae plots to kill Baek-chon, a plan that ultimately fails but sees Baek-chon sent to jail for manslaughter after defending himself. While in jail, Baek-chon befriends one of Hyun-tae's underlings. When both men are eventually released from jail, Baek-chon seeks to avoid conflict but when Hyun-tae murders his friend, Baek-chon seeks his revenge.
