Three siblings share a home with their parents living a happy life. The oldest one is good-looking guy, which is something of a contrast from his younger brother who is at school. The youngest one is the girl and has two brothers to protect her. And then there is Sakura, the family's dog who is always by their side. The fate of this quirky but happy family changes drastically after Hajime, the family's hero-like figure, encounters a tragic accident...

This time around the theme is "24 hours," where filming for each work must have been completed in 24 hours in order to appear in this film.

Kyoka Odoriba (Alice Hirose), a music teacher diagnosed with terminal breast cancer and given only a year to live, chooses not to undergo treatment and returns to her hometown island in the Seto Inland Sea. While helping out at her grandmother's café, she begins to direct the choir at her alma mater, where she meets Okiharu Shizugawa (Taisei Kido), a mysterious high school student who always has a smile on his face. However, a certain incident causes one of his lost emotions to resurface, and a strange daily life begins as Kyoka, who has only a short time left to live, and Okiharu, who tries to regain his lost emotions.
