Who Goes There?

A young man thrown into prison "for no reason" witnesses the history of the Far Far Away kingdom as a story is told to him by an old man who has been behind bars for a quarter of a century.

Belarusian teenager Lyosha, who ended up in San Francisco after the events of 2020, tries to stay in touch with his friend who remained in Belarus and went to prison. He writes letters, sharing stories about his new reality and friends. But life in a new country gradually brings new challenges and doubts: is it possible to live the new life fully without losing the old one?

In this cinematic zine, directors scattered all over the world adapt to screen hilarious and poignant Belarusian news stories. Featuring phone thieves, TikTok storks, the tiniest castle in the world, and victims of the depression epidemic.
